This is the official list of Authorized ShaptonŽ Resellers. Any products you receive from these vendors will be packaged in English packaging and the products are fully supported by Shapton. Products packaged in Japanese have been imported by unauthorized dealers and cannot be supported by Shapton. The binder used in many of the "Japan only" stones has been shown to develop micro cracking in the surface of the stones due to broad humidity changes. Shapton products packaged in English have upgraded chemistry that has shown no micro-cracking.
